YEU joined and supported campaign of European Youth Forum called "Freedom of movement"; freedom to move across the boarders without worrying about Visa and just focusing on learning experience. Free movement of young people is important because it improves their competences and skills, intercultural understanding, learns them to live as individuals, and provides them with better employment opportunities. Thus, many young people, coming from a non EU countries, are facing lots of obstacles, not just for long term Visas but as well short term, even when they want to attend a Training Course or any other educational activity.

I believe there are many of you out there who faced some difficulties in obtaining a VISA. Me as well, hundreds of administrative obstacles and missing papers. This year, YEU will be preparing a collection of visa stories of young people from around Europe and their experiences. If you are one of people that ever needed visa, share your story with us here: write your VISA story, shoot a video or send us some photos... Together we can show to policy makers that Visa regulations have to be changed and more accessible for young people.
