Grigor Yeritsyan has got 10 years of experience working for Civil Society development in Armenia both as a practitioner and researcher. He has 3 MA degrees in Political Science, International Relations and European Studies. Grigor is the co-founder and current President of Armenian Progressive Youth NGO, one of the largest organizations in Armenia, founded in Yerevan in 2009.
Grigor Yeritsyan is a youth worker and activist in Armenia with considerable practice in consolidating youth. He’s been working for Civil Society Development in Armenia since 2007 both in terms of academic research and practical work. In 2016 he also worked with the EU based Civil Society organizations at the European Economic and Social Committee based in Brussels.
As a trainer in the field of Education and Youth, he conducts capacity building seminars, partnership building and training activities. He deals with facilitating development, implementation, qualification and evaluation of seminars, works with participants to let out their inner full individual potential, contributes to their learning process by setting goals, choosing methods and creating an encouraging learning environment.
From 2013 Grigor is “One Young World” Ambassador. In 2014 he was elected as a Coordinating Ambassador responsible for the networks projects in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Since 2016 Grigor was elected for 2 terms as a Coordinator of Working Group 4 “People to People Contacts” at the Armenian National Platform of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. In 2016 he was elected also as a Youth sub-group coordinator within Working Group 4 of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. From 2018 he is elected as a member of Arbitrary Committee of the Forum.
In 2018, after Velvet Revolution in Armenia, Grigor was elected as a Member of Yerevan City council with "My Step" alliance during municipal elections in the capital of Armenia.
He is also involved in several other programs and organizations, such as Youth for Exchange and Understanding, Ecolab for Active Citizenship and Sustainable Development, Youth for Media international Network, College of Europe Alumni Association, MitOst Association, Federation of Young European Greens, Giovani Nel Mondo Association, etc.
