Youth Policy Watch - Consultations
YEU acknowledges how important is to be consulted and have an input in decision-making procedures. Therefore, YEU Administrative Office, will be sharing or running consultations to be filled up and forwarded to relevant stakeholders. It is vital that, as a Network, we can share our philosophy, opinions and ideas and therefore “push” for the best outcome which will benefit each Member Organization (MO) and our local communities.
As YEU we will always foster participation and inclusion of youth's perspective, therefore here are some current consultations that we would like you to be aware of.
Be aware that by taking part in such initiatives, promotes your opinion and makes stakeholders and decision-makers aware of your thoughts and concerns.
- Public consultation on EU development policy
How should the EU integrate the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in its development policy? How can it better include youth in development and its external policies? The European Commission is looking at revising the EU Consensus on Development and has launched a public consultation. This is an opportunity for youth organisations to put forward ideas. The European Youth Forum will put together a response for the consultation and will be looking for input from members (more information to follow), but we would also encourage organisations to respond to the consultation individually.
The consultation is open until 21 August 2016.
- The European Commission wants to hear your voice!
European Commission (EC) and the Commissioner Tibor Navracsics are launching an online consultation for young people to share their opinion and ideas on how to make it easier for young people to get involved in their communities.
Please be aware that the consultation will be open till 25/09/2016.
Take part in this initiative and to spread it amongst your national and international networks.
