YEU active once more in Policy and Advocacy
YEU is being more and more recognised for its role and importance in the field of Youth. YEU and its' Staff are invited and are part of structures that focus on sharing of knowledge and capacities, but also policy and advocacy. Since last update, members of YEU have been selected and participated in various structures, with important selection at the European Youth Forum's expert groups and networks.

- Expert Group on “Education" (16th of June 2017):
Matej Manevski - YEU President, took part at the Education Expert Group Meeting which focused on organisational updates from YFJ and MOs on the field of education and setting actions upon the priorities for 2017. Matej, was selected as part of the Expert Group and had the chance to take part at the meeting in Brussels during May 2017.
- Expert Group on “Erasmus+ and funding for youth organisations" (15-16th of June 2017):
Tamara Gojkovic - Secretary General of YEU as selected to be part of the expert group, was present at the Expert Group on the 15th and 16th of June 2017 which is part of European Youth Forum - YFJ. As part of the meeting, the members discussed achievements, challenges and future steps for better coordination and advocacy when it comes to Erasmus+ program and other fudning opportunities of Youth Organizations.
- Expert Group on “Membership, Diversity and Inclusion" (24-25th of June 2017):
Panagiotis Chatzimichail - Policy Officer of YEU, was selected as member of the expert group and participated at the first meeting on the 24th and 25th of June 2017. The meeting took place in Brussels tackling the 3 priorities of the Group. The three priorities were Engagement, Diversity - Inclusion and Growth. The group got to work on the frameworks of each priority and set the action plan for the year. As expected the process is ongoing with constant evaluation and expected meeting once more in 2018.
