RESTART: rethinking, assessing, activating and evaluating youth organizations
On the process to foster the work to be done by YEU and the organizations as set by the Strategy plan of 2015-17, MOs will have the chance to be part of the Project called “RESTART”. The idea, as set by the work plan submitted to European Youth Foundation , is to contribute to specific aspects of the plan which relate directly to the quality of our work but also NFE. More specifically, RESTART tackles the aspects of work on the development and enhancement of Non-Formal Education, Youth Work and Volunteering, Develop and advocate for Quality Assurance frameworks for non-formal education activities and Empower young people to actively participate in decision making processes and youth policy development on local, national and international level.
In order to achieve these aspects, YEU through the project, focuses on finding new methodologies and methods to increase youth participation of young people in socio-political life on local level, implementing Quality Assurance framework on local level in order to provide ultimate educational experiences aiming at learner’s personal and socio-educational and professional development, but also contributing to achieving multiplying effects of non-formal education processes in local communities. The aspect of local impact in this process is very important, as the practices tend to be various and YEU as a total and each MO have a lot to learn and share through this project which could benefit all members and external partners.
The project brings together 10 organizations from 10 countries, which are Turkey, Greece, FYROM/Macedonia, Serbia, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Netherlands and Montenegro.
