Training course “Youth work empowers youth to work” took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a mysterious land that I had only heard about before. TC itself seemed interesting and promising, so I backed my seven things and started travelling towards Banja Luka to meet all these new and fun people.
Already on my way to Banja Luka I met some participants, without them my seven hours long bus ride would have been living hell. As soon as I reached to my destination some participants, who were already arrived came to greet me and my travel companions. This was so heart-warming and I instantly felt part of this TC family we formed.
In the morning, we started with fresh energy and new ideas. First day we spent introducing ourselves, day passed flying, because we had so much fun and got to know each other. Trainers did really good job connecting us all.
During next days we all did lot of work. I’m so proud of all of us, because we all really pushed ourselves and each other to give maximum. During these days we had activities also outdoor. I really enjoyed sessions in fresh air, it stimulated my brain more and change of environment was also good thing.
This TC was what I really needed in my life. I got so many new ideas, knowledge and I’m full of motivation. In this training course I met people who become dear friends to me, I learned lot from them and they made me see things in new different light. I think most important aspect for me was, that I looked inside myself and saw my potential and find my motivation.
As my good friend said, every coin has three sides and in order to reach to the third side, you need to be open minded, because not everybody can achieve that. During TC we had disagreements, arguments, but in the end of the day, we all felt empowered and this saying was proved to me.
