Erasmus: get prepared for a dream
On May, 18–30, the Kyiv branch of Foundation of Regional Initiatives (FRI) held an online intensive "Erasmus: get prepared for a dream". The project included three webinars, where speakers shared their experience and spoke about the Erasmus programme.
1 During the first webinar, the head of the FRI International Department, Olha Dobrova, shared the resources to search for Erasmus+ projects, explained how to write cover letters properly, and gave some advice about things to be done before, during and after the project. Moreover, the participants learned about the selection criteria and requirements for those wishing to take part in the international exchange.
2 The speaker of the second webinar was Anastasia Mykytenko, a participant of exchange to Leipzig and a volunteer of Erasmus Student Network Kyiv — ESN Kyiv. She spoke about the ways to join an Academic exchange program. The speaker shared information about where to look for opportunities, gave some tips for writing a CV and a motivation letter and showed how to prepare all documents needed. The participants found out what they should be ready for and what to do after the exchange.
3 During the third webinar, a speaker Daria Zakharchenko a member of a public, non-profit organization Center for Euroinitiatives and a member of EU4Youth Alumni Network shared her experience as a participant of long-term volunteering. She described the steps of becoming an ESC-volunteer.
In general, almost 30 people joined the project "Erasmus: get prepared for a dream". Some of them received certificates about the successful completion of three practical tasks.
