40 years of YEU Convention!

We are thrilled to celebrate with you the 40 marvellous years of the YEU Convention! 

It seems like only yesterday that the non-formal Catholic group from Germany decided to make an international camp in the Bavarian Alps during the summer of 1981. The participants came from Italy, Austria and Germany. The camp was such a success that they repeated it the following years.

It has been a long path full of dreams, happiness and lots of laughter. We look back now and feel proud of all we have achieved: a wonderful family spread worldwide. 

It has been 40 years of great projects which have given people the opportunity to improve their interpersonal skills, to establish and grow long-lasting friendships - even families and to give the most out of them to make this world a better place. It hasn’t been easy. It required a lot of work, determination and effort. However, the result is worthy.

We want to thank all the people that have been part of this significant project without whom we would not be here celebrating 40 years of YEU Convention. Pat yourself on the back and feel proud of your work. 

From now on, all the posts that we will publish will include the hashtag #YEU40 as a tribute to our special anniversary, and we encourage you to use it as well when posting some news related to YEU. We have also prepared a whole design based on the 40th anniversary, which we will be uploading to our social media. We hope you like it!
