General Assembly of YEU International took place in Azerbaijan â€“ important decisions and new faces for continuous growth of the network!
General Assembly of YEU International for the first time took place in Azerbaijan, Baku where the Member Organisations elected a new Governing Board, appointed Secretary General and accepted and amended Strategic Plan 2011/13. The new members of the Governing Board are:

Orxan Abasov – GB member
Secretary General – Marko Paunovic
During the two working days in Hotel Olimpic near Baku that offered great facilities for such events, the delegates of YEU International were discussing important issues such as financial and administrative reports for 2009/10, a new statute of YEU International under the Belgian law was accepted and amended, new organisations were accepted to be observer members etc.

In the same time 3 organisations lost their membership: Romanian Youth Exchange, The Bridge and YEU UK.
The decisions taken contributed to a great development of the Network in terms of New Organisations involvement, incensement of the budget and activities and strategic decision to open another office in Brussels.
The vent was supported by Member Organisation Bridge to the Future which co-funded event and organized all logistic before, during and after the event.
