Creative Organisers in Greece
Between April 29 and May 9, Greece was filled with the happy voices of 37 youngsters from eight EU countries. Of course, it was because of the training course “Creative organizers: Young people in organizing youth exchanges” realized by N.A.K. Hellas.
Creative organizers was a training course for planning and implementing youth exchanges in particular and project management in general. Our aim was to develop the skills of young people in organizing youth exchanges and increase their activity within Youth in Action program. The competitive advantage of our work was the inclusion of conflict resolution management, increase awareness for inclusion of people with special needs, intercultural dialogue and increase awareness of diverse cultural behaviorsin a concept that increases the sense of our common European identity. The training took place in southern Greece, in Tolo of Argolis.
The training was an amazing experience for everybody. Participants were a very diverse team and it was a real pleasure for N.A.K. to organize an event like this. More details about the project can be found in www.creativeorganizers.gr and in www.nakhellas.com.
During the project we had a visit from the Greek National Agency and in the end of their control it was more than a pleasure to hear Mrs. Liakopoulou (controller of Greek National Agency) to say: “…this is one of the best work I’ve seen in my life…”. Of course for this achievement we need to thank the trainers Kostas Kompotis, Sonja Budisa and Marija Paunovic for the professional and amazing job they did.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved in this project and hope to see you all in our future events.N.A.K. Hellas is now ready for new challenges…two applications for two training courses have been already submitted and 3 more applications will be prepared for September 1stdeadline.
Hope to see you all there…
President of N.A.K. Hella
