JUB (Jongeren voor uitwisseling & begrip) welcomes the participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Georgia, Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom to apply for the training course “Youth work and European Citizenship; raising understanding and developing tools”

Number of participants. 2 per country (24 in total)

Aim: To raise understanding of the concepts of ‘Europe’ and ‘citizenship’ and to develop tools for youth workers on these themes.
To analyze the different meanings of Europe (where, what, who)
To gain knowledge on key concepts of citizenship: societal, cultural, political and economic factors.
To discover the right attitudes towards the project of European unity (future of Europe)
To develop and test new tools on European citizenship
To promote active European citizenship, a common European identity and non-formal education.
Priority will be given to participants matching the following profile:
Experience with non-formal education
Willing and able to work on local level with tools on citizenship
No expertise in the topics is needed, but welcomed for input during sessions - enthusiasm is most important;
Supported by our partner organizations in each country
Ability to work in English;
There is no age restriction. The organization will take into account balance in terms of gender and cultural background.
