I am currently Coordinator of the FNG Pool of Trainers, member of the YFJ pool of trainers and director at STARTEASY ltd and project manager and trainer for AICEM (Associazione Italiana Cooperazione Europa Mondo). I am italian living in the UK, which is a country with a long tradition of human rights. Think at THE MAGNA CARTA which has influenced the drafting of the US Constitution and many other documents. UK is the country were the industrial revolution started and one third of its inhabitants today was actually born abroad. It is a city of global citizens shining with tradition, innovation, and diversity. I keep myself busy with youth activities at local and international level. In fact I am setting up the website which will gather relevant spaces for youth worker around Europe. My background organization is WAGGGS - World Association of girl guides and girl scouts where I have been growing as young persons and then acted as youth worker, leader and external representative for many years before mentoring younger members. I am currently member of the gender task force at WAGGGS Europe. I steadily believe in an integrative use of Formal Education, NFE/Learning in order to develop young people's fullest potential: becoming leaders, being positively responsible, discovering entrepreneurial skills and having the interest in more sustainable ways of living. Being first a youth worker and then a trainer, I have found a common aim between my professional life and the choice to fulfill my mission continuously. In fact, taking part to the new projects in the youth field means 'Taking action' to me. It is about inspiring and welcoming new inspiration, create the link between European Institutions and actions at local level, giving people a meaning for empowerment and tools to create their own solution to everyday challenges. I have been trained in Human Rights Education, sustainable development and in gender issues in my life thoroughly. I consider such knowledge the foundation to contribute to constructive dialogue, social equity and promote the environmental, economic, social, geographical and cultural sustainability. I graduated in environmental chemistry and later on in education with a focus on migrating population. However, I continue improving my competences and I am strongly dedicated to this mission by doing, towards the promotion of a rights- based approach in all activities I join.
