Developing intercultural skills in business environment
Since last year, YEU has been participating, within the frame of LLP - Leonardo Da Vinci program, in the project “Developing intercultural skills in business environment”.
The project gathers ten partners from different backgrounds such as NGOs, foundations, companies, public authorities. Its general purpose is to develop skills of working with intercultural groups among business trainers. This aim is planned to be achieved by a series of different actions in duration of two years. Expected results and outcomes of the whole project include an online platform of cooperation and communication, national reports on HR development strategies and a guide for business trainers when working on multicultural environments.
YEU is proud to participate in this project and in the beginning of May, in the Faro office, YEU hosted a consortium meeting on the topic of “Cultural Differences” with the other partners of the project. YEU now engages through its office in Faro into a research on multicultural working environments in Portugal and the challenges that are faced in the Portuguese reality. The results of this work are going to be published in a common report towards HR development strategies and with an accent towards youth involvement in multicultural labor environment.
YEU was represented in the meeting by Vice President Klaudia Zebrowska and Project Officer Kompotis Konstantinos.
