Cooperation for Development-Project Management in International Youth Work
Bridge to the Future Youth Public Union organized a 8-day long training course between 19-26 March 2013 with the title of “Cooperation for Development-Project Management in International Youth Work”. As an organization the aim is to enhance the capacity development in project management and to get to know the youth context in Azerbaijan and EECA countries.
The aim of the project was to intensify the cooperation in the youth field in order to strengthen local capacities for inclusion of marginalised young people and to respond to the development tasks in EECA region in the youth sector. Moreover the purpose was to strengthen the international cooperation for youth projects and to enhance project management competences for the inclusion work.
The project enabled project managers and coordinators of youth organizations to apply outcome-oriented project management tools in designing local and international youth projects tackling exclusion of marginalized young people as well as increasing the usage of project management tools in the realization international cooperation in the youth field in transition countries.
The methodology of the training course was based on a participatory, trainee centered approach of non-formal education including a high diversity of inclusive education measures providing space for individual and group learning.
This project also triggered participants to create new local and international youth projects as an outcome of this project.
