Acronym: PEN

Peer Educators Network (PEN) is a non- governmental and non-profitable youth organization founded in 2008 with headquarters in Prishtina. We are active in 36 municipalities in Kosovo by Implementing programs on capacity building, social inclusion, gender equality, child protection, environment, and healthy lifestyle, and prevention of violent extremism and radicalism. Currently, PEN has 1500 volunteers/peer educators, which are represented by Municipal Coordinators at PEN. The decision-making bodies of PEN are the Assembly and the Board of Directors. PENs’ mission is to empower young men and women of all genders, ethnicities, religions, and sexualities through programmes to increase their capacities and mobilize them as agents of change through peer education approach. PEN in cooperation with UNICEF has created Innovations Lab Kosovo through which implements two pillars: By Youth for Youth (empowering young people to transform their ideas of social impact into viable projects, programs and social activities) and Youth Empowerment Platform (supporting the right of young people to advocate and be heard).
