“Esser Huma”, one of the newest organizations to be added to the YEU network during this year’s General Assembly in November, is a youth organisation created in 2011 by young people for young people, and is based on the principles of equality, peace and respect between different cultures and backgrounds in the society. It also aims to support young people to take a stand and take action within their reality and inform them about different opportunities available.
Our newly-founded organization will therefore be working on a local level with young people from the local community to promote local and international volunteering. It will be providing young people with tools to participate in the democratic life of their society and will encourage them to play an active part in the European community; organizing seminars, workshops, international exchanges with other associations sharing the same vision and philosophy, and training courses to motivate the youth to be more active, are some of the ways to give them the tools to achieve this, and to promote the European consciousness.
But it is also important to take care of the world we live in and for this our organization will be promoting awareness through activities for sustainable development in order to respect the nature and our environment. And we have already begun! The partnership with YEU in project “Green leaders-active youth participation vs. global environmental and climate change” (if it is approved) will be preparing young people to be active and promote the green change in our society.
